"Household Revisited: Peaceniks and Treehuggers", a project by Robby Herbst, will be presented by Outpost for Contemporary Art Sunday, June 7th, from 6-8pm, here in Highland Park. Herbst, and a score of others, staged an Allan Kaprow happening which occurred at a "lonesome dump out in the country". As per Kaprow's direction, there were no spectators, only participants. Originally an action dialogue between the Men, the Women and the People, for this version participants were asked to help re-write elements of the score by personifying with dress and movement world peace or environmental transformation. The happening included hands on workshops with choreographer Hana van der Kolk. The outcome will be presented as a film that documents the day-long event. Herbst's project and Outpost's hosting of this event is in conjunction with Allan Kaprow-Art as Life, on view at The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA. The event at Outpost will be a video screening and discussion.

Erik Bluhm's "New Nature" installation on view at the Random Gallery in Paris. The Random Gallery is a "new interface" between the galleries Air de Paris and Praz-Delavallade. Exhibition on view until 19 July.

Scott Scarboro, as a member of Ponty's Camper, writes to let us know that he has been in West Virginia recently as the band was asked to back up "The Dancing Outlaw" Jesco White for a new documentary on the performer/legend and his family
